The initial Ann Summers shop was used as a repayment for monies owed to the Gold Family from a business man named Caborn Waterfield. Over the years the company grew from strength to strength opening more and more shops around the UK. Back in 1991 Jacqueline Gold was appointed as a Director of the company, at the same time that the 10th year Anniversary of the Anne Summers parties. In 1993 Jacqueline Gold was rewarded for her exception work for the business and was appointed Chief Executive Offices ( CEO).
In 1999 the business was launched onto the World Wide Web and so began the online trading adventure. It wasn’t until around 2006 that Ann Summers went “International” and opened its first overseas store in Valencia in Spain. Due to the success of Jacqueline Gold in many areas of the business world, she was awarded the CBE from the Queen.

There is a Free “Click & Collect” service for all customers wishing to personally collect there items. This service takes approx 3 to 5 days for delivery into the chosen UK store. All other standard deliveries via courier cost £2.95, however this is FREE if customers spend over £35. In addition there is a Next Working Day delivery service which costs £5.95 and orders must be made before 6pm in order to qualify.
A Saturday delivery option is also available at a cost of £5.95, however orders must be made before 2pm on a Friday in order to qualify. International delivery for Ann Summers products is also available at a cost of £7.95 for Tracked Delivery. This service takes two to three weeks approximately for items to be received overseas.
